Nutramax® Calxequin™
Nutramax® Calxequin™ is a hoof pellet that promotes healthy hooves. Building healthy hooves is a complicated, multi-step process. At each step along the way, certain nutrients are required before the process can move along. Often, horses with visually poor hoof quality are deficient in one, or more, of these required nutrients. This can occur for a variety of reasons – even in a well balanced ration. Biotin, Methionine and lysine, make up Nutramax® Calxequin™, in order to support and administer quality hoof growth and durability. This supplement has to be fed every day to the horses in order to alleviate the effects rigorous work schedules and training have on the hooves.
