Wonderful calmer, 12/11/2011

Rebecca from Washington

I took my high-strung mare to a Christmas parade. Her normal self would be prancing around, but since i gave her this she was excellent! She was very calm, and just looked around like "eh, whatever." I gave this to her at about 5 hours prior to the event and it was still working when we left

Doesn't work!!, 1/14/2011

Caitlyn from San Antonio, Texas

I got this for my 11year old Thorough Quarter Arab gelding to see if it will help him, since he gets nervous being trailered and competing, but it did absolutly nothing! He acted a little more nervous then without it. I've tried the pellet and was hoping this one would do the trick, but it did nothing also. Plus, I've tried dubbling it with no effect besides making him kind of sick.

its a good product, 8/10/2010

rachelle from

i've been using the calm and cool pellets for 5 years now on my horse. and at shows i'd give him one dose every 4 hours and it took the edge off but i wanted to try the paste and see how that worked so i did. and the pellets seemed to make my horse look drugged but the paste didnt. i felt like the paste slowed his heart rate more when we'd be about to barrel race but the pellets seemed to chill him out more over all. but its a great product, if it wasnt invented i prolly wouldnt be doing as good as i am in barrels. thanks! (:

calm & Cool, 8/1/2010

Donna from

Great item! We mixed a tube with feed for our Arabian Mare 2 hours before and she was cool & calm! Effect lasted for 4 hours. If you have a nervous horse for tralering, showing or what ever your needs might be I highly recommend. We are now using the pellets calm and cool and seems to settle her.

I tried this product on my QH Mare, who is moody and nervious in her cycle. This product you may have to double. It didn't make any differenc in her. I may try the pellet form, but the paste don't work.

I love this product! , 10/8/2009

Susan from Tehachapi, CA

I use calm and cool for traveling long distances. It helps just relieve the stress and allows the horse to be calmer about the trip. It does not take any of their senses away; just chills them a bit. I love it!
