I took my high-strung mare to a Christmas parade. Her normal self would be prancing around, but since i gave her this she was excellent! She was very calm, and just looked around like "eh, whatever." I gave this to her at about 5 hours prior to the event and it was still working when we left

I tried this after reading a few reviews on my 6 year old quarter horse... he usually goes nuts if i take his paddock friend away but after using this he just laid down and took a nice dirt bath even with he out of his sight ...LOL, I'd say yup it works...LOL..I will use it again in fact soon...

I got this for my 11year old Thorough Quarter Arab gelding to see if it will help him, since he gets nervous being trailered and competing, but it did absolutly nothing! He acted a little more nervous then without it. I've tried the pellet and was hoping this one would do the trick, but it did nothing also. Plus, I've tried dubbling it with no effect besides making him kind of sick.

i've been using the calm and cool pellets for 5 years now on my horse. and at shows i'd give him one dose every 4 hours and it took the edge off but i wanted to try the paste and see how that worked so i did. and the pellets seemed to make my horse look drugged but the paste didnt. i felt like the paste slowed his heart rate more when we'd be about to barrel race but the pellets seemed to chill him out more over all. but its a great product, if it wasnt invented i prolly wouldnt be doing as good as i am in barrels. thanks! Great item! We mixed a tube with feed for our Arabian Mare 2 hours before and she was cool & calm! Effect lasted for 4 hours. If you have a nervous horse for tralering, showing or what ever your needs might be I highly recommend. We are now using the pellets calm and cool and seems to settle her.

Well some others may have training ussies that no supplement is going to solve!! But for my horse whom is very well trained it helped him stay pretty darn calm!! When he would normally be chomping at the bit!! Used for parades riding sidesaddle!!

I tried this product on my QH Mare, who is moody and nervious in her cycle. This product you may have to double. It didn't make any differenc in her. I may try the pellet form, but the paste don't work.

I use calm and cool for traveling long distances. It helps just relieve the stress and allows the horse to be calmer about the trip. It does not take any of their senses away; just chills them a bit. I love it!

I bought this for my 5-year-old TB mare and my 20-year-old mare who is very hyper on the trails. This product did nothing for the 5-year-old and hardly made my 20-year-old calm. You may need to buy more than one to calm a hyper horse down.
