overall a good product. I've body clipped my horse and it did the job just as well as the corded clippers. easy to use when you have a horse that dis-likes being clipped in areas and you have to follow them down the barn isle way. as another reviewer said, the batteries will say they are charged but not work.

Although it says this clipper is lightweight, it's not THAT light, BUT it gets the job done and I don't think a very light clipper could get a heavy duty job done. Have body clipped horses with it, no problem. It comes with two batteries, so as long as you keep one on the charger while you're clipping, you always have more juice. Comes in a very nice carrying case as well to keep everything organized, safe, and clean.

These were a birthday gift two years ago. The first year, all went well. Clipped great and very convenient. Then batteries quit holding the charge. Ordered new batteries but clippers still don't work. When I flip on/off switch the clippers act like their going to come on but don't. Re-checked "JUST CHARGED" NEW batteries and rechargers says charge is low. Repair cost $45 per hour labor. I'm going back to plug in clippers.

The first set I bought came used-with hair on the clippers-I returned them and later bought a new set from a different seller. Right from the get go this "professional" clipper did not have strong power like the previous model I also have. Ran out of juice early or needed frequent cleaning to get through easy tasks. After 5 months of babying it along its now not strong enough to run with a blade attatched. When asking around everyone seems to have simmilar problems and vet. supply stores are not carring them anymore.
Would not recomend them to shave a hairless cat!

We have 7 retrievers, 4 of which are long haired and occasionally get hot spots. Our vet uses this in his office so we bought it to keep the dogs' inflamed areas completely bare when needed.
This is a great product, not too heavy, no getting tangled in the cord and quickly cuts right to the skin quietly. It comes with 2 power packs so you never are out of power. I couldn't ask for an easier grooming tool!
