I have a small head for an adult. My Ovation fits so well, people have to remind me to take it off! Very adjustable and cool. Tough helmet. Strap system works great with eyeglasses!

I've tried several high-end models in Troxel and Tipperary, but never felt truly comfortable wearing any of them. This helmet is PERFECT and infinitely adjustable. Highly recommended for riders with more oval-shaped heads (not all of us have perfectly round skulls). I ride in Florida, and this helmet can be slightly warm when riding in full sun, but it's cooler than others I've worn. I got a lighter, more reflective color for that reason (light blue) - and this also makes me more visible on heavily wooded trails, which is always helpful for riders behind me. Great quality, very protective - well worth the price. Sometimes I wear a bandana underneath to keep my hair pulled back - this keeps the inside of the helmet clean, too. (My only complaint - and this applies to every helmet out there - is that there is no ponytail slot, such as you find with bike and skate helmets. Not a deal-breaker, though.)

This is a great looking helmet, and certainly does it's job. I was thrown a few months ago and hit a wall, and my helmet does not have one dent, scratch, or crack in it. I suffered no head injuries, only whiplash and the unfortunate broken shoulder which could not have been avoided. It does not retain heat because of the vents which is a plus, and it fits extremely comfortably. I almost forget that I have it on. I also like that it is lightweight so I don't get headaches like i have with other helmets. I bought mine at a local tack shop though for about 35$ instead of here

I love this helmet! It fits great and it really is slim profile (unlike some of the others that say they are, but aren't). It is great in the summer because of all of the vents. :-)

This is a great light weight, comfortable and good looking helmet! It fits well and I can't even feel it! I feel like I'm protected and love the low profile! Definitely worth it!

This helmet is light-weight and doesnt make you look like a mushroom!The colors are GORGEOUS, and its just so comfortabke to wear. It is a little pricy, I have found it cheaper on other sites, but this helmet is GREAT! I love it! Thanks, Ovation!

I really like this helmet. It is light and comfortable. I have taken a few spills with it on and though the helmet took a beating, my head did not!!! Good buy in my book.

Can't beat the quality, look or price of this helmet. I had around a $250 budget for a helmet and after going to four different tack shops decided on this inexpensive helmet. It looks SO much nicer than many of the more expensive brands, was much cooler, and didn't give me that stupid mushroom head look. The quality is great (considering the price) & it keeps you cool even on the hottest days. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite helmet! GREAT price without settling on quality. It's super durable with an adjustable dial and it's so easy to clean! I get so many compliments on it! No need to buy an expensive helmet!

This helmet saved my sisters life. She borrowd it from me and that day her horse got spooked and bucked her off, docter said if it weren't for that helmet, she would of died.Plus it is supper comfy. Does not make your head look huge, and it has great protection!

I am in the boat with the rest of the reviews...I have had two Troxels and highly disliked the fit and look. I picked up this Ovation today and am truly pleased that its a comfortable fit and you don't have that bubble/mushroom look like Troxels. Can't beat the price either.

It is a GREAT helmet. It does not look too large, and it is so comfortable and easily adjustable. I wanted to get a Troxel, but when I tried it on I hated it. This helmet is amazing. You won't be disappointed!

I just received this helmet and I'm definitely impressed, especially for the price. I've never been a huge helmet fan due to the bubble head look, but I may actually wear this one. One piece of advice on the sizing, if you're pushing the 7" mark, go ahead and order the M/L. I measured myself at 6 3/4 and got the S/M and it works fine but I'm maxing it out so if you're around 7", I'd go up to the M/L size. The dial adjuster works nicely for shrinking it down if needed. Oh and if the chin strap pad looks like too much, it just velcros on, so its easily removable, Very happy with it. :)

i have had this helmet for about a year now, and it is great!! ive dropped it about a thousand times, and only has a few scratches. This helmet is so comfortable, and fits very well. i love this helmet :)

I have had this helmet for about 2 months and LOVE it! I never get hot or look like a bubble head. I was about to get the troxel helmet but then I saw my friend wear one and she let me barrow it and I HATED it! I looked like a bubble head and my forehead was sooo sweaty. I would really recomend the Ovation helmet. :)

I used to have a troxel helmet. I hated that helmet. It gave me such bad headaches. It never seemed to fit right. It also made my head look huge. This helmet fit like a stocking cap. So very comfy and I dont have headaches when I wear this helmet. Plus it does not make my head hot. Good air flow through the helmet. Thanks for the great helmet - and it doesnt make my head look huge!

I bought this helmet because my riding instructor deterred me away from Troxel, as all her Troxel helmets eventually broke. Its the BEST. I love the fit, and its super comfortable and ventilated for the summer. I was bucked off a pretty tall mare, and it doesn't even have a scratch or crack in it. I'm definitely going to stick with this one!

I bought this helmet to do a coupple of lessons the i decideed i want to continue to ride and i diid and this helmet has done the job. is is that rubbery material which i love and i have had my mine for 7 months and you cant even tell there is a scratch
