Does it have to be treated with waterproofing after washing?

Best Answer: It is mini ripstop nylon, not the old tyme oilcloth. I suspect no waterproofing necessary until after many years of use. I do use a residue-free detergent: Atsko Sport-Wash to extend the lifespan of all my outerwear.
