how do you install the replacement battery?
amy n on Mar 31, 2014
Best Answer: Remove the top of the fencer battery box. It is the metal cover under the solar panel. It slips on and off, there are no screws holding it. Note the position of the old battery and which terminals are negative and positive. I took a picture for reference. Remove the wiring sleeves that fit onto the battery terminals. Connect the new battery being sure the negative and positive wires are on the correct terminals. Close the lid and you're done.
Note: please recycle the battery.

any pics on battery install?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2014
Best Answer: I didn"t see any, but when I read other customer comments, there was one which helped me. Since the batteries are identical (the old one & the new) , as one wire is unplugged, place it on the corresponding new terminal. There are only two terminals, which are marked as positive & negative. They are sort of hard to see, but are on top of the battery and next to the corresponding terminals.
