Product Summary:

Probios® Probiotic Powder Supplement

Provides live, naturally occurring microorganisms. Useful in newborns, at weaning, during stress, and antibiotic use, to maintain appetite and health. Establishes beneficial intestinal bacteria, and contains probiotic yeast cultures.

Deworming related stress and toxins from dying worms can upset the delicate microbial balance in a horse's digestive tract. Probios® products contain a stabilized source of beneficial bacteria that help to maintain microbial balance during stressful periods. Supplementing Probios® following deworming helps to maintain normal appetite and digestion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by It Works! My equine vet told me to use this on my old mare who has loose stools and it works very well. I've tried several other digestive supplements and none of them work as well as Probios! November 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I am very pleased with the results from probios. My horse has had diarrhea for over two years and now has solid stools again! October 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Product! Love this stuff! My horse used to be prone to getting a cold every mid fall/winter. Hasn't coughed once yet since I put him on it! A 5lb. tub of it lasts about 5 months for me. Has saved me so much money in vet bills and keeping my horse healthy and happy :) SO IMPRESSED! November 19, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE LOVE this stuff!! Probios has always been a life saver for me. I have tried other probiotic/digestive aid supplements in the past and yeah they worked but not near as well as probios works. Last fall I had a colt that had a really hard time eating and gaining weight. We tried everything and as soon as I put him on Probios he was great! Ate like a champ and he looked wonderful. This year I have a filly who keeps suffering from bouts of colitis unless she is on probios. I HIGHLY recommend this supplement! October 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Wonderful product!!!! My TB ORION is a rescue and he has always had a problem with cribbing so I went online and found out that cribbing is the natural way for a horse to burp. When I found that out I ran to the very edge of the pasture and ripped his cribbing collar off. If I left it on he the stuff in his stomach could have built up and he would have coliced. For a long time I looked for something then I came across Probios it has now been a week and his cribbing has decreased. It will decrease even more over time until he is not cribbing and his stomach will settle down. It is awesome. HEART MADDY & ORION!!!!!! October 24, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 wonderful stuff! One of the horses at the barn where I work was having repeated cases of colic. Tried several probiotic products, some very expensive, but problem continued off and on. Then tried Probios! Wah Lah! No more Colic issues! Wonderful Stuff! September 20, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Essential in your feed room We raise foals and sell them as weanlings, so I started using Probios in the foal's feed prior to them leaving for their new homes. The new foal owners all mirror the same conversation - their babies never got sick, or went off feed during their stress time, and bounced into their new environments well. We start the foals off with Probios at birth, and it's a great product to use during all stages in their lives. September 10, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great product I love probios!!! Because my mare was so thin, she would eat her grain, and then not eat all of her hay and i had problems with her gaining weight. i didn't want to give more grain or a weight builder because we all know that could lead to colic or foundering, and it can make them high.(and having a OTTB she doesnt need to have more energy) but with probios it helps her digestive system process food faster and better. so she wants to eat more natural things like hay and grass. Now she eats all her grain and all her hay!! She is gaining weight naturally without getting sick, or going crazy. LOVE IT July 17, 2009

What is the difference between Probios Dispersible Powder and Feed Granules?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2015
Best Answer: The "Feed Granules" includes fillers that are designed to make the product taste better. My horses are quite content with just the plain Dispersible Powder. I always mix it in with their other bucket feed. If you feed nothing else in the bucket, the Feed Granules might be what you need. But the cost per unit will be higher because of the fillers.
