5 star pet approval because all my horse had to do was barely hit the pole and they broke in two, jumping lesson over for the day...

I bought 9 pair of these last year for my 4-H kids to use. I got them out for the first time last night. If a horse bumped the jump at all you could count on taking off broken jump cups. A complete waste of money. What I thought I was adding in safety with using plastic instead of sharp edged metal cups was gone with the frustration of replacing cup after cup on an 18 inch cross rail because a horse barely tapped it. Don't waste your money on these.

My younger sister and I ride at home all the time, these jumps cups are perfect for that. We only knock rails a few times a ride and they haven't cracked or even started too! Not sure if they would stand up to a reg. event where they are constantly getting knocked down and hit, but definetly a purchase for home use or small lesson program!!

Ok, so I did read the reviews first and bought these jump cups anyway. They really were disappointing. It takes almost nothing and they just break. I ought 10 pairs less than a month ago, I think I have 2 pairs left.

I have bought 3 sets of these cups. In each case, up to half ended up cracking within a short period of time when either left out in the elements (mild in AL) or following mild to moderate usage in shows.
While they do have their value, the fact I will have to replace most of them makes me unable to recommend them unless you are the casual user and will limit their exposure.

Previously reviewed with a 'wait and see'. Bought several and over 2 months of very light use have had 6 or more break. Poor product from China

Tried these when we lived in WI. They did no hold up well in cold weather. Everyone of them broke. Would not buy these again.

When I ordered these jump cups, I specifically requested black ones. Instead, they sent me all white ones, which I know from experience, do not hold up. Sure enough, the first time a horse knocked a rail, one of the brand new white cups shattered. Worthless waste of money. I should have returned them rather than giving them a chance.

These jump cups arrived in a bright blue color. I would have preferred black to match the others I had. They look solid and are heavier then others I have ordered. We will see if they stand up to the job at hand.

I've only broken one and it was not when my horse was jumping over it! I accidentally ran it over with my 4 wheeler--it still works though--even with a peice chipped out! I love them

I bought 3 pairs of these jump cups just 2 weeks ago, and they work great!
They fit my homemade jumps, and are very sturdy.
Would recommend!
