I have tried every way imaginable to get this to hang properly. It slips and slides. No instructions came with it. I bought 5 and not one works well. Seems it could have used an additional clip to mount it. I wish I had returned them immediately instead of installing them and giving them a try! I will eventually replace them as I am tired of the saddles always falling off!

We have had 6 of these in our barn for 16 years, the past 3 years we have noticed the saddles seem to have 'spread' and don't fit the horses. THREE OF THEM, all expensive saddles. So bad the horses are either bucking or have very sore backs. Years of sitting on these without a V support have ruined them. I would avoid.

Bigest piece of junk I ever bought. No intructions on how to mount. Also they do not send you enough hardware. Tried to mount it on the wall and put a saddle on it. When I did it fell of of the wall. Do not waste your money.

be aware that picture with product is hardware which did not arrive with the saddle racks. From past reviewa it is probably better to take a trip to the hardware store for better supports.

You know the saying "You get what you pay for" well that is the case here.. to an extent. Overall i do think this is still a good value given the price. The price was right to purchase several and not exceed the budget, however the hardware leaves something to be desired. The rack itself it pretty basic but IS sturdy enough to hold my western saddle. But DO NOT use the screws, metal clips, etc that comes in the hardware pack. I went to the hardware store and spent just a few dollars for some decent pieces of metal clamps for the main weight bearing bar and the saddle rack works just fine.

I recently purchased this rack. After installing it, we placed the saddle on the rack and it fell down. The collapsable bar did not stay up at all on the very small clip. Total waste of money. I'm purchasing another English rack and will be placing our Western saddle on that instead.

I purchased six of these. The rack itself is reasonably stable, but the wall brace is an absolute joke. You get a flimsy piece of metal, and when you attach this to a 2x4, the rack wobbles wildly when jiggled. The wobble is bad enough to disengage the brace from the tiny hook that is also provided. A kid handling a western saddle will never be able to get the saddle on here without the rack's constantly collapsing. We'll have to go spend $ now to get some sturdy hardward to affix the saddle racks. Wish I did not buy it.
