I needed a overreach boot and the reviews were good on this brand. I have friends who purchased this product and they were very satisified with them.

Nice. Durable and soft. I don't worry about these rubbing. Only use in the winter turnout because they can be difficult to get mud off of during wetter months with muddy turnout. I have an OTTB that oversteps and these are a life saver then I am training him. Would recommend.

i am trying to buy my first pair of boots i can not tell if these have a bottom??
A shopper on Nov 6, 2014
Best Answer: No. These do not have a bottom... you wouldn't want a bottom portion on this boot. I am slightly confused as to why you would want a bottom? Typically boots with a actual bottom cover are for horses who have injured their heels or frog (sole) and those are totally different type of boots (typically made of a stiffer rubber material)... those boots are also used for horses who have thrown a shoe. : ) If you are looking for a boot to protect a horse that overreached (a back leg forward movement clipping the front heel) these are great! My horse (an OTTB) is always overreaching his steps so he LIVES in these boots (from stall, to pasture, to training). I replace them every 10 months or so because he wears them all day everyday and they will wear with that type of usage, but if you are just looking for boots to train in, these are wonderful. I hope this helps. God Bless.

My horse is 16.1-16.2 and her measurement around her pasture is 8. Should I measure the length of her hoof before I order?
Cmduchess on Feb 21, 2014
