Horses eat hay out of bags at show. This one allows decent access from both sides.
PATRICIA D on Nov 3, 2015
I use several hay bags when I go horse camping so I don't have to lift a whole hay bale into my vehicle. Plus, the use of hay bags is convenient while at camp. This purchase of 2 new bags gives me a total of 6 hay bags - enough for a weekend of camping with two horses.

Reduce affects of losing hay on windy days--- more for my horse and not in the yard
CHARLOTTE D on Jan 1, 2015
I am looking for a 'slower' feeding alternative for when I travel with my horses, so there isn't so much wasted hay. I will try this out.

How many flakes of hay will this hold? Will this hold up if it is left in a stall with a horse?
Margie on Feb 13, 2015
Best Answer: This item can hold 5-10 pounds of hay, depending on the type of hay. Also, it should hold up in a stall unless the horse is unusually destructive.
