Screen works well, we have in other windows. Horses seem to enjoy getting the extra air.

Can the windows be latched while the screens are in place or do I need to take them down each time?
A shopper on May 4, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, the windows can be latched. The screens are installed on the inside and the windows (if you have drop downs) open toward the outside. Since each corner of the screen is secured with velcro, and since I like to tie my horses while standing outside of the trailer, I simply unstick one corner of the screen to reach in and snap my horse's halter and then restick the velcro, raise the window bars, and that's that.

how does this mount?
sonya p on Sep 5, 2014
Best Answer: 4 mounting brackets come with each screen. The screen has heavy duty Velcro straps that you slip through them for fit. I had my trailer dealer install my screens, but all you'd need is a drill. The screens are great quality. The straps are long enough to adjust how snug you want to have them in the window.

My windows are 22 x 22...will this be too big for the window?
A shopper on May 19, 2015
Best Answer: I had the same problem, the screen goes on the inside of the trailer so I installed it it a way that it overlaps the window opening. It comes with four fasteners that you have to install and then the screen is connected to those fasteners. I just installed the fasteners on the trailer wall larger than the window opening and it works great. In fact with the screen being larger than the window my horses do not try to squeeze their nose through the edges of the opening.
