Awesome, 2/3/2012

Mariah from San Diego, Ca

I LOVE these boots. All professionals choice products I love. The VenTech really lets my horse's legs breath. Use them for when he's barrel racing, just working, trail riding (Although they do pick up a lot of stickers), and pretty much all the time. I LOVE them. The SMB 2s and 3s are good as well, I have 3 pairs, one of the older Elites, SMB3s, and these VenTechs, and these are definitely my favorite.

Not worth the money., 10/10/2011

Hannah from Louisiana

I purchased these boots to run barrels with my horse. We used them ONCE a month for less than a year and the seams were already coming undone. They seem to fit well on the outside but ALWAYS have dirt in them. (I now use them regularly for dressage training.) These boots are okay but NOT WORTH the money!

Sizing is off, 6/30/2011

Teamroper from Truckee, CA

This product said that if you are unsure of what your horse is, go a size larger. I did that, and I have about 2'' of overlap, and now it's rubbing the fur off of his back cannon bones. Not sure why, I've only used then 4-5 times, for short rides. Other wise a great product, just don't go up a size if you aren't sure.

GO WITH THE SMB II - BETTER FIT, 6/26/2011

TMB from Ohio

I had a set of SMB II boots and rode in them for years and loved them. They went on easy and never moved. When I got a new (bigger) horse, I purchased the Elites for more money and don't like them at all. When you pull around the velco, the outside seam on the boot rolls over and curls against the leg and has to be held down to secure the velcro. The extra velco on the bottom strap is nice, but it hangs up on the boot and can make it more difficult to secure. They do seems to hold up good, but my horse ALWAYS has dirt, sand and mud inside the boot when I take them off and that's not good. I find myself taking them off after every run, just to clean up his legs and prevent rubbing. They do keep his legs very hot. He is always sweaty under them no matter how long they are on. PC makes good products, but if I had it to do again, I wouldn't buy these again. Not worth the money when the SMB II's go on better, wear just as long and fit more secure. Don't spend money you don't need to! Save it for entry fees!

Be careful when using neoprene boots!, 4/18/2011

Pony Clubber from Carolina

These boots fit my horse great, didn' t move or anything! Great fit, protection and a gorgeous purple color! The big problem is that neoprene tends to get really hot and after a long ride on a hot day soon after I got these, I found that her legs were swollen and hot. I called my vet and she said it was the boots. They got too hot and practically cooked her legs. So just becareful when using boots that may get too hot, other then that these would have to be the best boots I have ever seen.

I had read other reviews, and A Lot of people said that they Didn't fit well, but I think they fit great! My horse tears boots apart so easily, and I go through bell boots almost one a month. I ride in these almost everyday, and they are great!! They have a double velcro under the ankle area, and they never move, No dirt on the inside whatsoeve!
