Well designed and balanced bit.  Proper adjustment is one to two inches lower than a normal hackamore.  The amount of rater is surprising.  It has plenty of flex for turns.  The unique connection on the nose piece allows the shank to float up for normal hackamore action and restricts the amount the shank can turn to the outside.  7" Cheeks.

Works great!, 11/8/2011

I watched three ponies at a show using this hack and it works great. It's not a hard on their nose. It makes them give to the little 3and 4 year old kids that were riding at the show and did need any brake at all!! That is why i need one.
