This is the best fly trap I've used so far, and it attracts a ton of flies! They then leave my horse and me alone. Much better then the refillable traps I was using, which are really gross to replace. The only thing is that my horse thinks these traps are going to eat him or something, cause whenever I replace them he gasps and snorts (hence 4 stars for pet approval) I think at the smell, which I don't blame him cause they do smell pretty bad. :P
Great Product

This is THE best fly trap - catches a TON of flies. I have put it side by side with another brand - this one is teh one that most of the flies go to.

I got ten bags 10,000 flys per bag and all full in one month. had to go to lowes in Bellingham,wa to get five more at $6.00 each this fall going to buy 50 big bags. there is no flys on horse's face's and highlander's cows.

WE have been using these traps for many years (the smaller ones). We have never found anything else that does as good a job of reducing flies on our ranch as this product.

We've used these bags for a number of years. Really must be in the sun. Seems that the odor is at a max when they really start to get full (flys & maggots...sorry for the maggot part). We place them in locations to take advantage of the prevailing wind to minimize the smell where we sit outside.

These smelly traps work great for getting rid of flies. I have used them for about 4 years. These work the best of all I have tried. None of my horses bother them and if they are about 3 to 4 feet of the ground even my dogs leave them alone. They do smell but it is worth it to get rid of so many flies. Just wish there was one for the no-see-em nats.

The only fly product I will use! Wish they sold them by the case. They do smell bad but hey they work so well I really don't care. Rather have a little bad smell than flys tormenting my horses all summer!

First I purchased the small size bags as a 'test' to see if they really worked like everyone says... I was shocked at the carnage! Then I ordered the large bag size.
I never got used to the smell (think rotting meat) but was amazed how many flys crawled inside to die... they were literally lining up and fighting their way in.
One drawback is the rotting meat smell also attracted meat wasps which most likely wouldn't have been around otherwise. The wasps also found their way into the trap, but also bothered my horses as well. These bags attract so many flys I'm not sure if it's counter productive in that they attract more than would normally be around without them..??? I'm going to order more for next season, but do my own little test to see if they attract more flys than normal. I also use these bags along w/ feed thru fly control.

These fly bags work, but they stink horribly - I use them because I've found no other way to get rid of flies - I just hate the gross stink I'm forced to smell all summer long.
