Made from closed cell foam which won't absorb moisture, this pad provides ultra-thin, lightweight cushioned comfort. Molded to fit high up into the saddle channel to give protective cushioning while allowing the spine and withers to be free of pressure. Fits all styles of saddles. Lifts and fills 1/2" in front while continuing to offer support to the full length of the saddle.

How is this pad different from the Protek Wither Relief Saddle Pad ... descriptions are identical in terms of the 1/2" lift and fill in front and continued support for the full length of the saddle?

Best Answer: The Protek provides even cushing from front to back.

is this a good pad for a western saddle on a horse with high withers?

Best Answer: It is designed for an English saddle so it may not fit properly with a western saddle.
