I use this as a work bridle and a show bridle. Sadly, I don't use the reins because I ride an Arabian. It was very easy to change the rommel reins, and the bridle fits him perfectly. It's good for everyday use, and the dark oil matches my saddle perfectly. This is a bridle that you can school your horse in every day, and then use leather and silver cleaner to freshen it up for a show. Over all, an amazing bridle and buy.

Great bridle, kind of cheaply made but that was expected. Way too big on my horse's head. The straps cover up 3/4 of the silver on the cheeks. Overall a good bridle for someone who doesnt show very often.

The dark oil headstall is EXTREMELY dark, whereas the light oil is EXTREMELY light. However, this headstall is a value for the price. Definitely fit for the larger headed horses, unless you want to cover up silver. I would recommend this to my friends, they already love both the light and dark oil headstalls.

This is a great headstall FOR THE PRICE...You pay cheap you get cheap...Don't get me wrong I LOVE the way the headstall looks and fits on my horse...but it came with some silver chipped off of it and the silver on one of the ear pieces is a little questionable cause it's not centered properly and if I don't watch it I might have a horse with a cut up ear... Overall I am very satisfied with the headstall, the color is a little light and the silver is covered cause my horse has a REALLY small head but it still makes him look REALLY flashy :) Perfect headstall for those of us with very little money just starting to show big time!

I ordered the light oil headstall and I am very pleased with it. My horse LOVES it. I found out from this headstall that he likes double eared headstalls better than browband ones, they are more comfortable for his ears. The only thing I don't like about this bridle is the adjustments on it. My horse is a QH stallion so he has a huge jaw but short head. I Had to make an extra hole in it to make it short enough for him and if you go any higher than the third notch, the strap starts covering up the pretty silver on the cheek piece. This is a stunning headstall for a great price, but its built for horses that have a bit longer heads.

AS BEAUTIFUL AND USEFUL AS MY HEADSTALL IS, I DON'T HAVE A SADDLE TO MATCH THE ULTRA LIGHT COLOR THAT I ENED UP PURCHASING. I DOUBT THAT DARKENING IT WILL MAKE IT A GOOD MATCH TO MY SADDLE, SO I WILL HAVE TO SELL IT ON EBAY...
