Works well! They are hard to stretch and get on.. .but if you live in AZ just put em' outside for an hour and stretch em right on!
I use these on my loose ring snaffles. I have one set for each bit. 2 bits. 2 horses. Both are excellent! They make my bits more comfortable to wear.

I love these guards. Just slip it over one end of the cheek, slide it down to the mouthpiece, and then stretch it over the other side. Not quite sure what everyone is talking about cutting them/microwaving them??? No need if you know how to put them on correctly. But obviously they won't work for snaffle bits because it can't stretch over the whole ring. Much better than velcro guards!

With the solid bit guard if you make a nice clean cut and then put them on, then crazy glue. You don't have to try to stretch them on and they stay together forever.. you barley see the seam!

I bought these at the tack store recently to go on my loose ring bit. I noticed that the horses go better in it now that I put the bit guards on. The one problem I have with these is that whey are sooooo hard to put on. I didn't have much trouble with the first one, but I had to microwave(!) the other one for a really long time so that it would stretch over the bit ring. It was worth it though!

These guards are great! They really give your horse comfort especially when jumping or racing. I have bought them for all of my horses and I think it has helped their improvement because of the comfort it provides. So if you want your horse to be more comfortable no matter what discipline get these bit guards!
