I needed to create smaller pastures and this is what I want to use to do that. This deal seemed better than in the local stores.

can this spark and start a fire if going thru dry grass ?
A shopper on May 12, 2015
Best Answer: I have had this fencing for about 10 years without any problems. If you fence is grounded properly it shouldn't spark. The fence goes through tree and some dry grass, but never any trouble. The trouble I have is I live in northern Minnesota and in the winter time the horses don't ground because of snow and frozen ground. If I could do this over again I would buy the fencing material that has a ground and hot wire in the same webbing. Hope this helps.
