This blanket is perfect! It is just right for crazy central oregon weather. It is surprisingly thicker than I had imagined and it is sturdy. You wont be disappointed. Oh and it does run a little big.

Would buy these again, definitely.
I have a 'blanket shredder' who has tried with this on, and failed.
We love Weatherbetta Blankets.

Very durable and VERY pretty! It is the envy of the stable. The 72" is very slightly too big on our Arabian mare, but it's not unusable. Would definitely repurchase and recommend the product to others.

Bought this 2 years ago for my 15.2 TB gelding who tore his rhino to shreds after a year.Fits better and holds together better then any other blanket ive tried. Just bought another one for my 16.2 TB and it fits great, alittle short but not a big deal. Its a great price and the colors look great on them.

Quality inside and out. 2 years and still going strong. Simply put, I bought one of these for my gelding two years ago and am back today to buy another one for a new horse I just got. I am done searching, I couldn't be happier with the quality of this blanket. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered this blanket in a 75 and it fit my 15.2 Paint mare perfect! Also, love the blackberry plaid color. It gets very wet here in Washington and this blanket keeps my horse warm and dry. Hard to find this good of quality anywhere for less than $100 as well.
Would definitely recommend!

I just put this on my gelding today, so I can't attest to it's durability yet, but it seems rugged. It is also a good weight for the late fall/early winter weather in central Indiana.
The immediate cons I had when putting this blanket on was the back leg straps are nylon instead of elastic which I don't like. It is also short on the sides. As another reviewer put it, it has a "mini skirt" effect! It barely comes down past my 16.3 TB's belly. If you have a horse with any sort of belly, I'd try a different blanket.

Recieved my blanket within 3 days of ordering. I ordered an 81 for my thoroughbred, we warned these do run a bit large. We ended up with a couple inches of slack. Quality wise, amazing blanket. STAYS ON my crazy horse. And nothing has broken yet. Really waterproof as very warm for a medium weight. Hands down, best blanket for the price.

My family has four horses and they all wear Saxon blankets. The blankets fit well, hold up well, and last forever. One of our horses has had his Saxon for six years (it's outlasted other more expensive blankets I've tried for the others). I won't buy anything else.

I bought this for my stocky QH/paint. In a perfect world my horse would wear a 77 blanket. I got the 78 and my horse had a good 4" in the back. It was also way to short along her sides. Also there is no velcro in the front.
In other words this blanket is not for stocky breeds. I love everything about this blanket otherwise.

Used this blanket for three months last winter, washed it and it totally looked like new. Fits well and wears well.

My horses live outside year round in a herd and these blankets stand up to them playing, rolling and keep them warm and dry in our chilly, windy and snowfilled winters
