I normally wear a size 10 but I thought I better order a size 11, rather have room than not enough. Well the 11 are so darn tight, finally after struggling much harder than anyone should to put boots on, I got them on. They are so tight on my calf and they fit more like a size 9. I have small calves so I dont know why they are so tight.

First, I will say that unless you don't have 3/4 or full length inserts/orthotics, these boots will probably be very uncomfortable. They have a flat/hard feeling, no insert, so they are like muck boots. However, I have full length custom orthotics, and the boots fit like a dream. I get 9.5 in Ariats and up to 10s in other shoes - I got a 10 in these to fit my inserts. I didn't buy them here, but thought I'd leave a review.
I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks, and they have been forming more to my foot and have slouched a little. I have ridden once in them, and they are heavy duty - but can still feel my horse (top of boot did get in way of bareback pad bottom). I have walked through mud and snow, and although they aren't the warmest, they keep your feet dry!
The picture looks a little shiny compared to my pair - the foot leather and strips of the leather are more soft looking. Also, the calf has extra room. I tried on the Dublin brand of this type of boot and they were tight around my calf.
I can wear breeches, jeans, and leggings in these!
