This special poly material actually absorbs tension when your horse pulls or panics. Strong braided 1/2" poly rope. The bungee cord section of this tie acts as a "shock absorber" whenever your horse makes sudden movements or reactions. 30" length with heavy bolt snap on one end and panic snap on the other. Sold individually.

This is a Good, Strong Tie!, 4/22/2013

I love these. I have three. two for my trailer and one for my barn. They are strong and snaps are good quality. Yes, they only give a small amount; just enough for a scared horse to remember they are tied without freaking out :) The only negative thing I can say about them is that I wish they were a little longer so my horses could reach the hay in their bags better. Still a great product!

These trailer ties do not have much stretch and the heavy bolt snap does not fit over my tie ring (too small).

i would not suggest buying these and I'm glad i only bought 2 i was expecting them to have alot of give as it says shock absorbing. they have maybe 1/4th of an inch of give which is definitely not enough if a horse were to fall down or get scared and pull back in a trailer. so i guess u get what u pay for. its pointless for me to send them back as it will cost me as much in shipping to send them back as it cost to buy them in the first place.
