An effective way to apply ice after a vigorous workout, competition or injury, the Six Pocket Ice Boot protects your horse’s leg from the coronet band to just below the knee. This boot is made of nylon, with a neoprene inner layer and nylon pockets. Just insert ice into the pockets, wrap the boot around the leg and affix the six hook and loop straps for a perfect fit on a front or hind leg. Comes in hunter green with black straps.

I've never used Ice boots before. Are the pockets large enough to insert a 5x6" gel ice pack instead of reg ice?

Best Answer: The pockets measure just a little bit smaller then 5 X 6
5 1/2" W x 5 3/4" H is the actual size of the pocket
