I have been using these hoods for the last two years. They work great, my horse rubs through the pipe coral and with this hood on, his main is never damaged. Sometimes they get ripped and I just sow them up. If you have playful/ nippy neighbor horses they will get beat up fast. I even turn my horse out with it on so he doesnt get as dirty! Overall I think they're great.

This hood is so hard to get on my horse because it doesn't have a full zipper and plus my horse had it in shreds the next day DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT EVER!!!!

My Q Baby has a very controlled mane, but when I have braids in her mane, she likes to rub her mane off. So I put this on her, and she doesn't rub as much. But when she does, she rubs really hard. So one of these will last me bout a month. Overall, I think it's a very good product, considering the abuse my Q Baby does to it.

We have several of these in sizes from mini to warmblood. they keep the mane down, braids or bands in, and the horse clean. Only for use for a short time however, as in the night before the show or in a stall at a show.

I just got this hood today. My horse hasnt had one on in a couple years (just bought her) so she is currently trying to scratch it off. So far no picks, runs, or holes after half an hour of rubbing. I would racomment this product and it is $15 cheaper than anywhere else I looked!

My horse is the most jumpy horse ever, and after a little coxing, he took this with ease, and wore it all night. Only problem is after several wears, the strap behind his legs broke, so we had to tie it. I have never had the actually material rip.

This item does a great job when it isn't torn. I haven't met one yet that wasn't torn they are not worth the price! The material isn't rugged enough for horses
