Seams to work just fine, 1/23/2013

BRITTANY THOMPSON from Indiana

I bought this blanket for my older blind mare. I was concerned when I read all the ratings that she would tare it up. She scares easy, being blind, and runs into things sometimes (even though she's been in the same pasture for 4 years and nothing has changed). But her blanket, of two weeks, seams to be holding up fine. I ordered it one size big, because everyone said it was small, and it fits her fine snug but fine. And so far is holding up, in fact she seams quite comfortable in it. No rips so far. So we'll see, but so far I recommend this blanket

disappointed, 1/31/2012

Marian Wright from Wilmington, OH

The front belly strap is several inches shorter than the back strap; shorter enough that the straps cannot be crossed to help prevent slipping. The first night my horse wore this blanket in his stall the side was ripped.

Junk blanket, 1/22/2012

DW from Dittmer, MO

I bought this one for my 4 yr old palomino, last month, it lasted maybe a week. It is nothing but junk. It rips easily. Just turning around and bumping the side of the stall ripped it. There are no nail in the walls it simply ripped by hitting up against the board. I have a blind horse with a name brand blanket on, he runs into everything and does not have one rip in his in four years. Spend the extra money and get a better brand, this one is cheap but it is not durable like they claim.

Very Undersized, 12/3/2011

Financy from Mora, NM

This blanket is made of excellent materials and the workmanship appears to be good. BUT, it is very undersized. My horse wears a size 76; this blanket fits her like it was a size 70! I am exchanging it for a size 82!!!!
