SOURCE Micronutrients – Original Dry Meal Formula
The expanding depletion of our agricultural soils means that even today’s finest feed ingredients are increasingly micronutrient deficient. The oceans are nature’s richest storehouse of micronutrients. Certain marine plants, unlike plants grown on our agricultural soils, contain the broadest spectrum of trace minerals and other bioactive micronutrients of any plants on earth.
SOURCE Micronutrients are totally natural and derived and concentrated from careful selection of these extraordinary marine plants. Our unique harvesting and processing is dedicated to preserving the maximum bioactivity of these natural materials. Every component undergoes extensive independent laboratory testing to ensure the dependable quality of the micronutrients that horsemen throughout the world have come to rely on since 1975.
SOURCE contains no fillers, binders, preservatives, artificial flavorings or colorings or added chemicals of any kind.

Why did you choose this?
I've heard this product works well for horses who are prone to sunburn. Is this accurate?
Best Answer: I have been using Source for 25 years. I use it to put the bloom on a horse. I think the micro nutrients derived from sea help supplement the nutrient deficient soil that current farming practices deplete. I have used it in So California as well as Oregon. I have not noticed any type of reduction in sunburn. I have Paint horses with a lot of white on their faces and my pastures have little bit of clover in them.
I can say that it will dapple out your horses coat.
Does Source make your horses more hyper and energetic? I love my nice calm slightly chubby mares but both are prone to hoof cracks and I'd like a supplement that could help with that. Thanks!
Best Answer: From my own experience with feeding Source to my very calm Morgan mares (who are also "easy keepers") I would have to answer "no". Source has proven to be a terrific overall supplement, supporting digestion, strengthening hooves, and adding a nice, lustrous shine to my horse's coat. Definitely try it!
