Different color than advertised. , 10/29/2011

Was really excited when this came in, only to be upset to see it was more of a deerskin color than the nice dark one the site had advertised. VERY irritated because I need to completely redo my bridle set because of this. Not happy. Quality seems okay, only tested it on a short ride. Sits okay on the nose, though its pretty big for my Racking mares petite head. The buttons on the side of the nose band are slightly rusted, it almost seems used. The nose band itself is slightly cracked and stiff... going to need some TLC. Not what I expected for a BRAND NEW hack.

My horse used to hate the bit. I switched bits so many times trying to find one he would like. None of them worked with him. We had trouble stopping and running through the bit. He had fits averytime we rode. Slinging his head and fighting my contact. I finally found this, he loves is. He stops on a dime. He has achieved collection and natural balance. He is a well behaved horse now. You must be aware that you much be gentle because this is a slightly sever hackamore in the wrong hands. But with the right touch. It works wonders! I highly reccomend this to anyone that has soft hands!
