What power unit is suggested or recommended to electrify this tape?
CHERYL P on Nov 23, 2015
Best Answer: My electric fence power unit is rated for bison. I have goats and it takes that much to contain them. However, my horses jump if you hiss at them and they are standing close to the fence. I would suggest looking it up on the manufacturers web site.

would this work to keep rabbits out of my garden?

Thought I would put the bottom strand 6" above the ground and a second strand 1 foot or so above the ground.
tom w on Oct 20, 2015
Best Answer: With enough electricity to this, it would probably keep a bear out of your garden. However, as you probably know, young rabbits are very small and will slid right under a wire that is six inches off of the ground. This is fairly heavy compared to the wire and depending upon how far apart your posts will be may droop low enough to solve the height problem.
