Rated 5 out of 5 by sure latch 2 way gate latch Best item I've purchased in years.Easy to use in either direction. Can be opened from horseback. You can put a padlock on it for extra security and one of the best things is that it eliminates your gates from sagging.I already have eight of these on my property and am ordering more tonite. Not just for horses, works great on any gate (especially gates that lead to swimming pools) A definite 10+ for me. June 11, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this gate latch! If I have to deal with another chain and clip I'm going to lose it! This gate latch is wonderful. It's not only easy to open (by pulling up one of the levers) but it closes with just the slam of the gate. It holds up your gates to prevent sagging, won't rust and looks great. I changed almost every gate latch on my property to one of these and I'm not going back to dealing with chains, clips and snaps. You do have to mount and adjust it properly and make sure your gates have a good secure mounting post and are level for this gate latch to work as a slam gate. But, once the gate is level the latch will keep it from sagging and it's a breeze to open and close with just one hand. May 4, 2010
