Broke ribs hurt. This vest is comfortable and no overly hot.
Also most dont fit men. This one does. I did have to return the Large Tall, and just ordered the Large. The Large tall hit cantle at a walk, just enough to bug you. I am 6 foot 220 lbs. 46" chest. I measured IAW tipperys video and should have been a tall, but nope.
SO other than the sizing being a bit tall. These are pretty good. Wish they had them in light grey.

This vest provides better protection of the kidneys from the front of the vest compared with Tipperary's more expensive eventing vest, because the vest comes down a bit lower in front. Additionally it gives a cleaner line when riding and our daughter will ride in county hunter shows with this vest (show rules allow protective vests and judges are not allowed to mark kids down for vests, but I am sure they must). Either way, protection is more important than ribbons to us parents!

I have Multiple Sclerosis and wondering iif u carry any other safety devices for western horseback riding I have a helmet and getting a inflatable vest. Do u have anything that will help me stay centered on my saddle?

Best Answer: I work with a PATH certified therapy program and a lot of the success for riders like yourself is getting you on the correct horse. I would suggest a horse with a good broad back and steady pace that has been well trained. If you can find a certified PATH program near you, they use occupational therapist to assist with training which might be very beneficial for you. Look under the PATH International website to find a program near you if you are interested in that kind of program, otherwise, I think most of your riding benefits are going to come from your horse and your training, not from piling on additional equipment which might turn out to be a endurance.
