AMANDA R on Jun 8, 2015
This is my second Sportage Helmet. I bought the first for an 8 day desert ride in the 4 corners section of the American Southwest. I've also used it on 3 separate rides in the Costa Rican rain forest. And, of course, for daily use. It is the most comfortable, coolest (great air flow) helmet I've ever worn. I LOVE it! I'm only replacing it because - although still functional - mine is beginning to look a little beat up after years of hard riding in a variety of terrains!

How do I know what the manufacturer date is?
A shopper on May 11, 2015
Best Answer: My new Tipperary has the manufacturer label inside the helmet. There is a size label, the CEI rating label and a manufacturer label. I don't know how to tell prior to getting the helmet.

could you please give a sizes chart?
Carmen R on Apr 4, 2014
Best Answer: XS - 6 1/4 to 6 3/8 hat size - 19 1/2 to 19 7/8 head size (inches)

S - 6 1/2 to 6 5/8 hat size - 20 1/4 to 20 3/4 head size (inches)

M - 6 3/4 to 6 7/8 hat size - 21 1/8 to 21 1/2 head size (inches)

L - 7 to 7 1/8 hat size - 21 7/8 to 22 1/4 head size (inches)

So find the size of your head (measurements on the right) and then find your corresponding hat size (measurements in the middle) and then find the corresponding XS/S/M/L size (on the left.)

How do you pick the size of helmet to purchase?
Sandee S on Mar 13, 2014
Best Answer: I chose a medium since that's what I take in other helmets. The Tipperary comes with different pieces that attach to the inside and help you make a proper fit to your head. Mine fits perfectly and feels wonderful.

Is it adjustable?
A shopper on Jul 11, 2015
Best Answer: The helmet itself is not actually adjustable. You use the pads provided to make it fit your head; sounds, "uugghh!" but, really it is not difficult. Between this helmet and the saddle we had made just for me, I can ride without pain from my tail bone or from my head! We used "adjustable" helmets before; they now hang from a top hanger on the wall where no one can reach them because the only time we will ever use those pathetic things is when we are entertaining and need extras and are using our own. I've never used ANY type of helmet that did not give me a headache . . . before my Tipperary. I know, sounds like an advertisement; but really, I mean it! I can ride the entire day rather than 15 minutes.

how do i meassure for my hat size?
Wendy B on Mar 15, 2014
Best Answer: Measure your head with a measuring tape right above your eye brows and around your head (the largest part of your head, in other words). Use this measurement and the size chart located on the right side of the page (under the add to cart button) to find your corresponding hat size.
