A modern twist on the classic skull cap. Lightweight high density ABS material provides superior impact resistance. Contoured drop back shell and comfort foam interior cradle the head for increased protection. Functioning rear vent for high temperature relief. Rear reflective strip as well as rear grip texture for secure placement of helmet cover. Padded leather 4-point harness system with quick release buckle.

Son kicked in the head and walked away, 5/6/2013

My son used this helmet to ride Rough Stock (horses) at High School Rodeo. He was kicked in the back of the head by a bareback horse. The helmet was destroyed, but the boys head is fine. It saved his life. Buying a second one until the upgraded verson arrives.

Great helmet, but will not repurchase, 5/16/2012

I had the "lightbulb"-esque helmet for a long time, and when it came time to get a new one, this was it. Although it is comfortable and sleek, it just doesn't fit in my discipline. If you are an eventer or jumper, go for it!

Not as Vented as Sportage 8500, 8/15/2011

Love the helmet. Dont love that there's not a small visor like the Sportage, and the Sportage has vents all along the top and back of the head to keep you cooler and this one doesnt. Im curious if I can exchange it for the Sportage... Will someone at Stateline please let me know? I ride in So Cal and it's hotter than hades out here right now.
