Looked like good quality halter and I was not disappointed. Good price and also got a discount on purchase.

Would this work or hold up for my Shetland pony she's a therapy horse and she's smaller than her other Shetland pony pals?
A shopper on Jan 30, 2015
Best Answer: I use mine on my pony foals. It is fairly lightweight. I like that it will break if they get in trouble. There are other nicer inexpensive halters that I prefer for my other ponies. I have Welsh ponies.

is this protect good and is it synthetic leather??????
lia l on Nov 4, 2015
Best Answer: The halter is well made out of leather. I think it was only usable 3 or 4 months as the foals grew out of them. I had to switch-up. I have Quarter Horses. This is not a nice doubled leather and stitched horse halter. It's a light foal halter. Depending on your breed it might not fit, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods and Draft breeds come to mind.

Is this big enough for a Thoroughbred foal ?
A shopper on Mar 11, 2015
Best Answer: I bought this for my paint horse foal, and it fit him perfectly. He actually had to grow into it because it was too big for him when he was a newborn. I don't see this being a problem for a Thoroughbred foal. And it's easily adjustable, which is very nice!
