Too difficult to zip this on a fidgity pony. The velcro closures are so much easier. I'm sending this back, especially after reading the terrible reviews.

After getting this mask for my horse at a great price, I liked the look. After a little wear, it was clearly not one to make my horse happy. I got the appropriate size, but he has severe rub marks that start at one side of his head next to his eye and goes all the way across his head to the other side. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I don't know how anyone gets these on their horses! I got this mask when it was on sale; so I didn't pay too much for it. It seemed snug in the picture so I ordered a large even though my mare wears a small in most masks because of her very arab like face. Could not for the life of me zip the stupid thing up. It took 2 people to get it on and she started to sweat almost instantly because of the way the material rubs on her.

I have two horses but only bought one to try out because of the other reviews. Sure enough, the large was way too small for my 16H gelding, and just barely squeezed on my 15h arab-headed mare. I liked the look and it seemed like it would be effective at keeping the flies and gnats from bugging my horse but when I went back a couple of days later the mesh was already completely ripped (my horse lives in a mare motel type pen and wasn't turned out with the mask on). I was so bummed! I really liked the idea of this mask, but the product needs to be completely redesigned- mesh is way too thin to stand up to a horse and the zipper should zip from the large end to the small end (and follow the direction of the hair). I obviously won't be buying this mask again until they make some changes. Too bad!

I wouldn't turn my horse out in this, he ruin it within hours but under all his tack on the trail...this is superb! Keeps all the bugs from creeping up his jaw, makes for much less head tossing if any! I do agree on the size chart, this runs small but I'm ordering two more and I'm sure to be pleased!

These are terrible and will do more harm than good. The mesh "sat" on my horse's eyes and rubbed them raw after only one day in the pasture. I was trying to prevent sunburn on my paint mare, but now this fly mask created sores on her lids from rubbing all day. Do not buy these, they are terribly designed.

Hi, I ordered a large for my horse and could not get it zipped - way too small. I gave it to my sister-in-law and it would not fit any of her horses either! It seems very nice but the sizes are at least one size smaller than stated.

deluxe lycra fly malk from las vegas nevada
I ordered the first 2, they were mediums so I sent them back for a exchange. The larger ones came and they did fit my horses. I opened only one and placed it on my horse in the morning. By nightfall there was a big hole in it. Do not waste your money, if you do decide to by this product make sure you buy a size bigger then what you would other wise purchase.

When I took this mask out of the packaging there were some loose strings that needed to be knotted or the whole thing would have unraveled, which I quickly fixed. I liked the fit of this on my horses face, but the netting rubbed my horses eyes since there are no darts, and caused him to rub it. He is usually not hard on masks and I wanted to try this one because of the fit and great price. Within 12 hours my horse had this off and one of the ears was shredded and there was also a hole in the lycra. I only have two trees in his pasture and nothing else to puncture the mask. Very sheer/lightweight lycra and screen tears very easily. Not worth the money, since it tore apart the first day.

After waiting to get the mask from being on back order since July. It had a good fit- good idea/light weight/breathable etc- But it had been on less than 24 hrs & there is a hole in the top of one of the ears & has a huge tear on the front face so it is completly useless now. I have never seen my horse scratch or rub or mask ever but appreantly she does & I think that the mesh part was too thin. But good concept if it would have worked

I have a 23 yr old Arab that is half blind and he does great in this mask. Evening after dusk. Great visibility and washes well

I have tried just about every mask on the market, and the flies ALWAYS seem to find a way in. Having flies trapped inside the mask on the horses eyes is worse than not having one at all! This mask is the only one I will ever use. Flies can't get in, and if the mask does stretch a bit out of shape, it can easily be taken in.
