i bought this cooler last season for my 12year-old gelding, i liked it except that i found that it clung to his hindquarters and by this season it already had 2 rips in it. He is a 15hh standerdbred and i got him a large it is very big so i would say that a medium is a size 72.overall this cooler was okay but i expected something better

You get what you pay for. I used this as a liner for my turnout blanket. Our quarter horse had this on under his blanket for two weeks. It was adjusted daily but it still shredded along the front seams and is not repairable. It really shouldn't be used except as a cool down sheet after a ride.

My 25 yr old mare loves it when I add this liner to her heavy winter blanket on those more cold winter nights. recommend for everyone to buy. great product and comes in big sizes too!

I have an Arabian mare who gets furry in the winter but could still use a bit of cover on some of the cold Wisconsin winter days. She's about 14hh, 800 lbs and maybe 68/70 inches and the medium fits her perfect. I've had it for about a year now. It only has a single belly band, a chest strap and a rope "cinch" that goes under the tail. She's not an abusive horse so it stays on and straight. It' very soft and seems pretty well made without me having to worry too much about her getting bound up and not being able to get free. Overall I like it and would buy it again.

Love this cooler. Use it all the time after rides and trailering. Wicks the moisture right off her. She is almost completely dry by the time we get home. I would purchase this again in a heart beat.

Just received this in pink for our 16 h thoroughbred mare. Bought a large and it fits her great. We have not had any issues at all with this,but our horse is easy with her blankets

I really can't say I had high hopes for the price, but on the first day it got torn in the front where the buckles attach to the cooler.. Now admittedly the horse wearing it, had it on all night because it was cold, however I wouldn't expect tears in it the next day. I know that it wasn't the horses fault, because he's very gentle on blankets. So I have to assume it was because the blanket is poorly made, but all in all for around 30$ it's worth it. I have a second one that I bough, but before it goes on the horse I'm re-enforcing all the seams in the front. Oh the largest size fits a 17 hand horse pretty well, I'd say it was a little loose but not bad, I had originally bought it for an even larger horse so no complaints there.

Save your $ on this is you planning on using this as a blanket liner for turnout... Where it has no leg or belly straps, it DOES NOT stay in place, and could potentially cause a tangle hazard for your horse. Spend that much more to get a different brand, one that has leg straps at least.. For trailering, or stall use, I think this would be fine.

I like this blanket, I bought two one for a stable blanket, trailering, after rides ect, then I got one to go under his blanket. I left the blanket on when I went out of town, came back with just a little saw dust on the side, but other than that it had stretched in shoulders and it drooped down, so I would not leave it on for long term use under blankets, unless your willing to check every day or so.

For the price, youa re getting an excellent cooler. My mare sweats a ridiculous amount in the winter and this is always what she gets, with a seperate neck sweat and it has helped a lot.

I have a hard to fit Arab/QH cross. Shes to big for Arab tack, to small for Horse and all my blankets are a little big in the sholder. But not this one ... Absolutely perfect fit, the fleece is soft and strong also and I love the color selections. Great sale price. Will be buying more.

I purchased this with a Turnout blanket and it has came in good use. I put it on during cool days without rain in the forecast and use it for stable a blanket. I love the price also! Even though it doesn't have leg straps it stays on really well! I've even left it on over night on my small mare. I do use clothe pins for it because it hangs loosely around her belly. Overall, this product is great to have on hand!

I ordered this for my mare Sunday night and got it early afternoon Wednesday. I tried it right away tonight after I rode my mare and I love it! It's so soft and even though it doesn't have leg straps it stays on very well! I got a size large for my 15.2 mare and it fits her great. I bought the medium for my 14.3 paint quarter horse and it fits him very nicely! I highly recommend this for the price. Although it doesn't have leg straps which is a downer but other than that it's great! I'm planning on buying it for my other horses in other colors!

The material is a nice quality fleece, but it is cut big for a small. It is too big for my paso. Also, the item description says that there are dual leg straps; there are not. There aren't even any D rings to attach leg straps. This is a problem as I wanted to turn him out in it. No way will it stay on without leg straps. Not enough holes in the front buckle either. I will have to take the neck in to get it to fit properly. Would send it back, except it is cost prohibitive!

We looked into just making our own...you cant beat this price. Also want to note it DOES have a belly strap, but no leg straps. Which is fine with me since I only use it trailering. Does have a tail cord, but will prob cut that off. I would definitely recommend this feece sheet.

I bought this sheet for my arabian. It fits wonderfully and starts wicking moisture immediately. The fleece is soft and yet has some substance. This works as nice if not better then my 125 dollar fleece cooler. Don't let the price fool you! the only thing that would make this better is rear leg straps.

Satisfied with the product overall, however there are no leg straps as described in the ad, just a tail string. Like the drawstring you'd find in a jacket. Not even a strap. Oh well, hope it stays on!

I got this for my 16 year old Arabian mare, who's really easy on blankets. I got the medium 74-76 and it fits really well; She's about 14.2/14.3. My only complaint is the absence of leg straps but for her, the tail string works just fine. Overall it's a nice, light blanket for the price. And looks to be washing machine friendly.

The cheap price with free shipping made it a great deal, however the chest straps on the smallest hole still fail to close/overlap the front, creating a good potential for pinching or rubbing from the buckles. Static was really high,( maybe the weather )so my pony was not happy that it clung to his hindquarters, crackling as I pulled it off. The fit was otherwise good in small for a young 14.2 hand Welsh cob.

I was in need of a fleece sheet for after workout cool-downs and for after trails when trailering my horse back to the barn. This fleece sheet was well within my price range, plus shipped for free and arrived within days of ordering! The fabric was soft and warm and fit ideally for my hard-to fit Haflinger cross mare (I ordered a size Medium). Would highly recommend!

I got the red one, to go with my black horse, and he looks like a million bucks! The looks defiantly work if you want something pretty. Stays in place well. My horse doesn't seem to care either way about it, but he has a short back and I got a large. I was a good size, fits him well. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

I just got this a week ago and finally had a reason to use it. I needed to trailer my horse an hour and a half away while he was sweaty from being in a heated building all day. This cooler fit great and stayed in place in the trailer. I only really need one but I'd love to get one per horse so I could have more colors!

I really like this product! It was very affordable but decent quality! I like that there are lots of colors to choose from and that its built more like a horse blanket. True to sizing charts, fit my horse perfectly. I was extremely pleased with shipping as well. I thought it would take at least a week to arrive but it was here in 3 days.
