This is my second Tough-1 blanket, and the fit is excellent. My first Tough-1 blanket is now on it's 3rd winter. I needed a lighter weight so I went right with the Tough-1 it fits my horse better than last year's Saxton I bought! Very happy with the quality and the price.

I am not sure why these blankets get such bad reviews. I almost DIDN’T Order it because of them but I figured for the price I didn't have much to lose.
That being said I ordered two of these for two younger geldings I have that do nothing but PLAY. They have been on them since the beginning of December thru now (Mid January so far) and.... PERFECT!
They are waterproof and keep the boys dry, they have held up really well and they look really cute!
ONE of the blankets does have a SMALL hole in it BUT the horse got himself caught on something in his stall and THAT caused the damage NOT them playing, rolling, tugging etc. Also the hole has now been there a few weeks and has NOT got any worse which is impressive that even damaged the blanket is holding up.
I think they are worth the $$ for sure, No they are not PERFECT but look at the price! I am on the site today not to write this review but actually to order another of these blankets.
Two things to note:
1 - these are not "warm" blankets per say. They aren't filled with anything or fleece lined or anything like that but rather waterproof sheet which will in it of themselves help keep your horses warm.
2 - one of the other reviews mentioned there is no black at the bottom of the giraffe print they ordered. This is true for the giraffe print as well as the turtle, which stinks bc the black did look nice but o well they are still cute.

I've had a Tough 1 blanket before, although it was a 74" and just a bit too small for my horse. It withstood 2 years of use with only a small tear in the hindquarters, which never got any bigger.
I decided to buy a bigger size this year because my horse was getting rubs on her chest and withers. I have to say, this new blanket fits pretty well, although a little small in the shoulder area. My horse is bred for roping, so has a big front end. Everything else fits great and the new modifications in the higher neck makes much better wither clearance.
The water beads off this blanket so I hope it stays this way. Horse stays nice and warm and it is brightly colored and beautiful.
My old blanket became very un-waterproof very quickly, so I'm not sure how long it will last in that department. But for now I love it, and it's pretty inexpensive for a decent blanket. My horse is alone though, so she doesn't tear around or really have anything to rip it on. *knock on wood*
Definitely worth a try in my opinion. Horse is already eating much less hay! Looks sharp!

I bought the peace one. It's so vivid and pretty. I am finally getting some use out of it! The weather dropped to the 40s here and my horse doesn't get a winter coat so I blanketed him. My horse is gray and the colors look great on him, its dasy o spot him when hes out with multiple horses in the morning. He's and extremely mouthy 6 year old and is turned out with another horse in the afternoon and the blanket is still intact!

Bought the zebra print for my appy gelding. He measured in at 68" (purchased the 69"). Keeps him warm and dry when it's snowing out.

I have actually bought a few of these for my horses because the price and colors are so tempting. Every single one has fallen apart. The belly straps come undone easily and at least one on every blanket was torn off by my horses. The material rips like paper and all of them had huge tears within a month of purchase. They will keep your horse dry in light rain but will soak through on really yucky days. Invest in a Weatherbeeta or an Amigo. You really aren't saving any money on these crappy blankets.

I highly recommend this turnout blanket! It's warm, durable, and stylish at the same time. I've had this blanket for about a month now and it has came in good use. It is semi thick, but it's good for those horses thin coats. My horse Buttercup has cushing's disease, so it's helped keep her coat from not getting so thick. The only problem I've had with it is that one of the snaps won't hold, but it is really easy to replace. Otherwise, it's been a GREAT blanket!

I ordered this sheet for my mare and so far I am impressed with it. My mare is a size 80 in other blankets so I ordered a 81 and it fits well everywhere, but it is pretty long on her (not a huge deal). I got the zebra one and I absolutely love it! The price really isn't bad for this product. I would order more!

It took me a while to order this blanket since the reviews say it isn't very waterproof. I love the print so much I ordered it anyway and used Aqua Armor on it before using it on my horse. no problems with this blanket at all and it's a fun, beautiful blanket with great color

I bought the 81" lime zebra for my palomino mare last year. The blanket was pretty waterproof, unless it was a heavy rain out in which case she would be inside anyways. The blanket kept her warm in snow, wind and light rain and best of all it kept her looking like a palomino, not brown :P. My horse lays down all the time and loves to roll, the blanket has stayed on and not ripped from that. The only time this blanket tipped was when my mare got it hooked on a nail in the barn and it shreaded the blanket. I will be deffinatlly buy another one for its replacement, this blanket has done its job well.

Love the colors, unfortunately mine only lasted a week before it was so ripped that I had to throw it away. I wish this blanket was more durable, if it was I would order one for every horse in my barn (8) just because they look so great. Very disapointed.

I bought two of these sheets. One for my QH & the other for me TB. They are hands down, the WORST sheets I've ever purchased. Neither stand up against even a light rain. Both horses have come in soaked right through the sheets. The quality & waterproofing are not what the description says they are. I've had to replace both sheets.

not the best blanket, it isnt completely waterproof, youll have to buy a can of waterproofer and do it yourself. i love that the color is very bright and easy to spot. fits high up on the neck which keeps my body clipped TB gelding warm during the winter. He rolls every time he goes out and hasnt managed to make a hole in it yet. not really worth the price

Within the first month we had this blanket my horse managed to rip three holes in it, two ripping completely through the whole blanket. One thing I can not complain about is it is water proof(: and works great after we patched it up. Wouldn't buy again though, would probably get something a little stronger

This is the worst blanket I have ever bought. It tears all the time and is not waterproof and it is only 1 month old.

This sheet looked really fun, I was tired of trying to spot my bay horse in a pasture full of blue and green blankets. It lasted less than 2 days, the fleece at the withers, the binding underneath and then the fabric split halfway down the back. Thankfully my son who bought it for my Christmas present will be getting a refund from the site.

I was a little skeptical of this blanket because of some of the reviews, but I bought it anyways and I am really pleased. My horse loves it, and it is indeed waterproof. She's had it for a few days out in pasture and there's just one snag in it. Not a big deal. I plan on buying another one :)

This blanket is awesome! It is very waterproof, my horses have worn this in torrential rain and snowstorms and have not had an issue with leaking through. Great value, will be purchasing another one.
