Honestly, I wasn't expecting much at that price but I've been pleasantly surprised. No rips, no tears and a happy horse - a great value! Add super customer service and prompt delivery and I can only think of two words... Thank you!

I was surprised that this blanket has held up for 2 days in constant rain on my 2 horses. Both are dry (a few inches past the neck opening obviously) when I thought surely it would have soaked through by now. My older horse even rolled in the mud and he's dry.
I stable mine separately and they don't get turned out together, but they do fight over the fence and so far no rips or tears yet. Have to say, I'm still waiting for them to disappoint but they show no signs of doing so yet. I may just get the neck piece to go with them. For the price, you can't beat it.

Great blanket for hard-to-fit horses like mine. A 75" fit my Arabian/Saddlebred perfect and will even fit my thicker-built QH. Probably wouldn't be good for a horse that is harsh on blankets...but so far, in my brush-filled pasture, it has held up perfect and still looks brand new. Easy to clean, material is comfortable and non-abrasive like some blankets...and so far, hasn't rubbed in the usual places. My horse loves it, I love it, and I love the price! I plan to buy three more for my other horses. =)
PS: Always round your measurements UP to avoid a blanket that is too tight or improperly fit.

This blanket has been just the right weight for most of our mild winter. It's lightweight enough and fits well enough that it doesn't rub. AND, as long as my horse was turned out alone, it held up. But the moment he was turned out with another horse, it ripped. The other horse tugged at the ring where you can attach a neck rug, and it ripped like crazy - all the way through, not just the top layer. Next time I'll invest in a higher denier blanket.

I decided to try it because the price was so great. Well, only 1 week wearing it and it ripped! My guy was in an empty field alone -- with no trees or any other objects to rip it. When we turned him out with another horse, this blanket was completely destroyed! I've purchased many blankets for my 6 horses. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH BUYING! It will catch on the smallest thing and will tear. Then one tear will lead to many others. Spend a little more and get a little better quality.

3 days into wearing it, my mare managed to rip this blanket right down the middle. Shes not a ruff horse by any means, just CHEAP material. Truth is, you get what you pay for. Im out $40

I have a wide range of ages in horses from 8 months, 4 years, and 20 year old horses, and one shed, so they have to wear the waterproof breathable blankets, and after one bad night of rain and 43 degree weather, they stand without halters for me to brush them and put their blankets on. My weanling can roll in the mud and it keeps her dry and clean under the blanket and has yet to rip. non of the blankets I've ordered have ripped.
