I have an Arab and I'm worried that the horse size halter may be to big. What size should I order?
Melanie M on Jan 18, 2015
Best Answer: We recommend using an halter that currently fits to measure first.

To determine halter size:
- Measure from the left square
- Around the head
- To the right square.

My horse is a big headed QH, he is on the middle hole in a weaver nylon large halter, so would the large horse be a good choice? And I'm buying one for a friend and we are hoping o find a size that would sorta fit both her 13hh pony and her 15hh mare who has a small head, I was thinking the horse size because the ponies normal halter is a average size but it is slightly big for him but we could put more holes in it.

Best Answer: This halter seems to fit true to size from my experience when I bought it. A large size would be more for a warmblood in my opinion. However, I've found that leather halters tend to run larger in size than what you would expect. I wouldn't order a size up for either of those situations unless the horse is still growing.

Best Answer: It really depends on what size your donkey is. Is it a mini? Standard? Mammoth?
