I wanted a blanket for my sweet old mare but didn't have alot of money to spend on an item that I had no idea if she would tolerate. So I purchased this inexpensive one and added a can of water proof spray just for good measure. We are on our third warm and dry winter with this affordable blanket. I would purchase this item again, but first this one would need to wear out... no sign of that yet. (from the foot-hills with lots of rain and a bit of snow)

I purchased the Lime Green Zebra print back in April for my 16'1hh TB gelding. I wasn't able to use it till this winter. Well with that being said it is bow winter rains here in Sacramento Valley and for the past week we have had nothing but straight down poor. Mikey has had his blanket of day and night for the past month as out in a huge pasture with a covered and trees and he has yet to rip it. He as also stayed super dry with this week of down poor where I thought he would for sure be soaked underneath. But not a stop. This blanket get all kinds of attention around the barn and we love it. I will be purchasing another one today!!

Bought this for my 16hh gelding. Bought an "81" because there was no 80. Thinking they did this because it ran small I got it. Turns out I should have bought the size smaller because it's HUGE on him. It does however fit my 3yr old Draft! I love the 2 belly straps and I still let my other gelding wear it even though it was big and it still hasn't ripped! LOVE this sheet and will be buying more in the spring. The only thing I wish were different is the front straps. The top one tore and I wish it closed up the chest a little better because he stays dry but when it's over my winter blanket the chest gets soaked.

Tough-1 I'm sorry to say that I hate all Tough-1 stuff its cheap; and on all of the Tough-1 product pages there are like one-million bad reviews. My advice don't buy from them unless it's a hoof pick those are the only good things they sell.

Used the peace sign sheet on my TB once in Spring - no rain - was okay. Used it again for 2nd time - in rain - my TB was soaked through...never had one with a back seam but thought it would be okay as it said was waterproof. I guess it was not as waterproof as they said. Fit is good - however runs a little small - order a size up and perhaps one without a back seam would be better.

I bought the giraffe and the turtle blankets for my horses and they were not as shown! The both were not black at the bottom and I know it sounds stupid that I care, but I wanted them to match their winter blankets as I have tough 1 blankets!! They have been wearing them for 3 days now as it has been a constant down pour and they have in and outs. Well the both have proved to be very waterproof but the giraffe one has already ripped in the front! Not too happy. Price was decent when on sale, but wouldn't have bought it if I knew it wasn't going to be as shown or rip!

I was so excited to get this blanket for my warmblood Cabaret. It fits him perfectly, the only problem is the first day he wore it, it was raining. By the time he came inside the blanket and my horse were completely soaked head to tail and all in between. If this blanket could keep my horse dry it would be five stars. If you don't want a waterproof blanket this is the perfect one to get!

This sheet is very cute and fit my WB great. My other two horses (TW and QH) had on Defender TO sheets, and it was 45 degrees out... They didn't sweat at all but my WB wearing this sheet sweat. Sadly not breathable but nice otherwise.

So, I bought it because my friend recommended it and I noticed it had a back seam. I was a little worried about it so I gave it a little bit of waterproof spray just to give it a little more strength. There was a storm that lasted for about and hour and when I went to take her sheet off, her croup was soaked. I returned it.

Bought 72" lime green zebra print, water proof even after I washed it twice, lasted through a dozen rain storms already and only had it four months. Doesn't rub my mares shoulders. Never ripped when she walks through the woods.

I adore this sheet! I bought the peace sign sheet in size 78" for my grey 16'2 hand TB. It fits him perfectly. I get compliments everywhere I go with him and it has held up very nicely so far!! *Knock on wood!* It is perfect for spring but I would recommend something lighter for hot and humid summer months!

I ordered the giraffe and mine came as solid giraffe print - not a black bottom ot it.. and a big FAULT. a BACK SEAM... I have sprayed it with weatherproofing but sure it will leak.!! I bought the turtle print last year (as shown int eh photo) and it did not have a back seam and has held up VERY WELL.!! I was disappointe dwith the Giraffe.. NOT as pictured or described for sure.!!!

I have had other products from this company in the past and been quite pleased with them. Unfortunately, this is NOT one of them! I bought the peace sign sheet to keep my horse dry and cleaner in the spring weather but he was soaked after only a half day of rain! When I took the sheet off it had a bad smell to it as well. VERY disappointed in it and would NOT recommend to anyone :( Yes, it is less expensive than some other sheets out there but there is no excuse for false marketing. If it doesn't do the job then don't claim that it does!

I got this blanket for my red dun mare and she looked great in it! But, a storm came along and I thought this would be the perfect time to try out the blanket. I WAS WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING! The blanket soaked my mare. Not at all waterproof. Then rips started to form and the blanket stunk horribly. I threw it away with 1 day of ownership of this rag. DONT BUY! This product is worth a nickel and dime of your timE!

I had my suspiscions when I saw a seam down the back of this blanket. The second day my mare wore it it rained and her back was wet. Not happy with the way it fit in the chest/shoulder area either.

My dad bought the rainbow peace sign sheet for me for my birthday after I showed it to him. I wanted it to put on my paint mare as her summer sheet. As soon as I took it out of the package I was disappointed - IT HAS A BACKSEAM. This automatically allows water to soak through. I put it on my mare anyway for a bit, and it had torn within a weeek in the front between the buckles. I put some duct tape on it and hoped for the best. The next morning I went out and there was a new rip, which I duct-taped as well. Then the barn owner called me and told me the entire blanket seperated from the backseam, that the horse must have stepped on it when she was getting up. This blanket is cheap! You get what you pay for, never forget that. Weatherbeeta here I come!

I have both the black and white medium weight zebra and the pink and black lightweight zebra. I've turned her out in snow and in rain and she stays nice and warm. My horse loves to lye down and these blankets let her do so with ease. Its easy to use and has great durability, these blankets are inexpensive, stylish and work great. i love this blanket and i recommend it for a horse in a stall or out.

I bought this sheet to match my peace sign blanket. I love this sheet. The first day we had a horrible rain storm and I put this sheet on him, it kept my guy dry and warm. He loves to roll and this sheet has hald up. No rips. The sheet stays in place which I love. The only problem I have with this sheet is that is does tend to run a little small. He normally wears an 81 in blankets but with this sheet he needed an 84. But that is not a problem. I would recommend this sheet to anyone. And the colors are great!

This sheet is not waterproof whatsoever. Horrible. Will never buy from this brand again. My mare was outside with it barely raining with this on all night, the next day it was completely soaked through.

I'm kinda glad this blanket didn't have good straps. My horse rolled, loosened the belly straps and got his legs stuck in it. He ripped the entire blanket to pieces (only the neck piece was left dangling around his neck as the rest dragged behind him. But for 2 winters, it was great, kept him warm with very few problems.

I have this blanket in the 250 grams polyfill. I used this zebra print on my grey (white) Paso Fino mare and I have been so impressed with the Tough-1 brand, that I recently ordered another for my daughter's gelding! It is VERY waterproof and I love that the neckline comes up higher; helps keep the rain from ducking in. Last winter, my mare was sharing her stall and pasture with another mare, and the zebra blanket kept her warm and dry, even when out in the worse rain and snow! The only negative I have is the hind leg straps loosen up and I have to check that daily. All blankets fade overtime, yet this one seems fade resistant. I have had it for nearly 2 years now, and it's been out in the sun and other elements and only now, is it beginning to fade. No rips or tears yet tho! And even tho it's fading a little tiny bit, thats okay. It still does it's job, works great and when black fades it turns a BROWN color, and you know? female zebras have brownish stripes rather than the bold black and my mare has not complained yet about the color...at least out loud....:D

Like so many others, I discovered too late this sheet is not at all waterproof. The first time my horse was turned out in the rain in her"waterproof" sheet, she and the sheet were completely soaked through. EVERY other horse in my barn though was dry as a bone! Unfortunately, it didn't rain in my neck of the woods until after stated return period and apparently there are NO exceptions. Be sure to put any new sheet on your horse immediately and hose them down for a few horse to mimmick rain so you can return it in time.

I got this blanket the middle of October 2011, I love the color, its a fiesty blanket to sport around, however, I found that it is not waterproof in a bad storm where animals get drenched, my mare was literally standing next to my front porch the next morning shivering worse than the mare who did not have a blanket. It also did not hold up to my expectations on being sturdy as the outer lining has a couple rips, and the entire inner lining is in shreds. I just ordered another blanket which will hopefully live up to my expectations. Its a shame this blanket didn't hold up, the color looked amazing on my buckskin mare!

It's very sturdy! It's waterproof, we put it on when it's 45 degrees or if its 20 degrees and our horse is fine. However! The leg straps do loosen if the horse rolls or bucks, so watch them to make sure they don't get too long. We have had it on our wildest horse and it's survived 2 winters now and is still in good condition

This is a cheap product. You get what you pay for. I put this on my horse fit great, looked great, but IS NOT WATERPROOF! He was SOAKED underneath when I took it off of him. Also had rips and tears places and it was only on him for 2days. I can assure you there arent any sharp objects in his pasture and he is top horse in the pecking order so he wouldnt be getting picked on by other horses for this to be caused. VERY Disappointed!

It is thick but light and durable. holds up during play. completely waterproof and wind resistant!! It also held up so i can use it again this winter! I LOVE IT SO MUCH WOULDNT BUY ANY OTHER BLANKET!!! and it comes in cute patterns

The colors are great, especially the lime green on my black boy but these are not waterproof. They are ok for a light shower but when you get lots of rain my boys came in wet & cold & I had to take off sheet so they could dry. They should be termed as water resistant not waterproof.

I bought this blanket not too long ago. I love the color and how it fits my horse but it is not a winter blanket. I put it on my horse for our first winter snow thinking it would keep her dry and warm. but Dry and warm was not the case. She was dripping wet from the blanket not keeping her dry. It's a great price but not something to put on your horse when it is snowing out. :/

I am very happy with this blanket. I bought it in 2010, and it lasted all winter, and I can use it again in winter 2011. my horse had destroyed at least one blanket each winter for the past 6 years, and this one has no rips. I am happy!

I own 2 of these animal print sheets, one in the turtle and one in the giraffe. These sheets keep my horses very dry and warm while on the tie lines when we are camping. They are very durable as well. My horses all roll while wearing the sheet and there have been no rips or tears on them.

Bought the giraffe print for a bay Appendix gelding and it looks so cute! It kept him super dry and warm during a horribly rainy day. Horse didn't seem to mind it at all. I want one in every colour! I highly recommend this blanket!
