Why did you choose this? Store
To match my lime green saddle and I picked this pad because its lighter than the one I have right now and i don't think my horse will sweat as bad in this pad.

how thick is it ?
A shopper on Apr 17, 2016
Best Answer: I would say an inch plus. My saddle was made to fit my mare, so I simply ride with only this pad and with 4-5 rides per week. . . a year later there are no wear and tear spots at what one would think to be the major pressure points :-). Also, it washes well (soap and water by hand) and hung to dry too. I have 2 and have ordered others for friends. No complaints and well worth the money in all regards!

Plz tell me what is underneath that actually touches the horse?
Kelly J on Mar 16, 2016
Best Answer: It's like a gripping pattern, it's really good and it doesn't pull the horses hair.
