This helmet worked very well! It was light and kept me pretty cool, even during the hot summers. I liked it better than the Troxel spirit. Because it didn't have the dial in the back, it gave it a much snugger, more comfy fit. I got it in white and it did get some scuff marks and scratches over time. But since I was just doing schooling, it didn't really matter. I'm just now having to replace it because my horse reared up and struck me in the head. I cannot be thankful enough though that I was wearing my helmet. Otherwise, the dent in my Troxel would be in my head. It lasted well and I never really noticed any problem with it, besides that it did give you a bit of a bubblehead (not so much as the spirit though). I give it five stars because, for the price, it was defiantly a great helmet. I recommend it to anyone wanting a comfy but sturdy helmet for some light riding.

I bought this helmet for summer. I was immediately impressed by how well it stayed on and how comfortable and light weight it was. I rode through rain with it and have fallen off with it on and after two years of every day riding, it still keeps its colour without cracking and the straps hold up nicely. Definitely not a showing helmet, but for an all around, all purpose helmet it does its job! This is my favorite helmet and I will be ordering more when (if) mine ever breaks.

I LOVE THIS HELMET IT WAS MY FIRST ONE AND AFTER 10 YEARS IT STILL KEEPS ME SAFE BUY THIS AND YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY ITS CHEAP, WORKS, FITS, SAFE ONCE I WAS RIDING BAREBACK AND MY NATIONAL SHOW HORSE PEPPER RAN OFF AND I FELL HARD without this helment i would have had a head injury or worse thanks to this helmet buy now

For a basic schooling and trail riding helmet, you can't beat the Troxel Sport. It is light and comfortable, I find it more comfortable than the more expensive schooling helmets which adjust.

I've had this helmet for many years and it never failed me. My only complaints would be that it is bulky and a little on the heavier side. It also seems to shift around a lot even with extra pads to keep it from doing so. On very long rides my neck would start to hurt and I would get a migraine. It also makes you look like a doorknob since it is rather large (literally). I recently bought a more expensive one from a different brand and am happier. If you're on a budget, though, this is a great buy.

These helmets are so durable and lightweight and fit great. Always a great price, I've had a few and keep buying them everytime I want a new schooling helmet.

I am a barrel racer and I have seen so many bad riding accidents happen in the arena. As a result, I came to the conclusion that a helmet is a necessity. I don't make much money and this helmet provided excellent quality at an affordable price. It is a very comfortable helmet. I used to teach horsemanship at a camp and have tried some expensive brands of helmets. This one is every bit as good as any I have tried quality wise. It does have a tendency to scratch but a good helmet cover will solve that problem.

I took a fall from a horse that resuled in a direct kick to the side of my head causing a brain bleed. The doctor said this helmet may have safed my life.The helmet was crushed but not my brain.Thank you Troxel
