Have received lots of complements on the boots., 9/5/2012

Love these boots. I was going to save up, and buy some custom boots, but with great fitting boots like this, why bother? They look great, feel great (after wearing them about 4 times) and they are so inexpensive, I can use them every day, without feeling like I need to "be careful" with them. When I first got them, one of the zippers kept unzipping while I was wearing them, but then it suddenly stopped doing that, so I am thrilled. I ordered Wide, which fit perfectly. I don't think my calfs are "wide" in general, but, I read a review that said they ran a little small, so I ordered up, and was glad I did. I normally wear a size 9 to 10 shoe, I ordered a 9.5, and it was the right call. I would make sure you have a shoe horn available when you put them on, because when the zipper is down, it digs into the back of your heel until you get them on. The leather is pretty stiff, and probably not as shiny as I would ideally like, but, more the boots are well worth the money.

Good boots for price, 6/1/2012

These boots are a decent quality boot. I almost returned them because the seem to run small in the calf and the wide are a full inch larger. Breaking them in is going to be extra painful but in the end worth it. I would buy them again.
