Sizes run small, 1/8/2013

I purchased this pair of boots, went a half size up so I could wear heavier socks, and the boots were very tight. They were also very tight with thin socks. I called to return the boots, only to find out that I would be responsible for return shipping costs. I didn't want to replace them because I was afraid the next pair might not fit again and again I would be responsible for return shipping fees. I would think twice about ordering from a company that doesn't offer free return shipping on items that are truly not sized properly.
