Bought these for my dtr but they are too tall for her. Took them to a shoe repair to see about having them cut down but because of the elastic that runs down the entire length of the boot, it would cost more to shorten them than I paid to purchase.

When I got this boot, at first they looked great. they were new, shiny, and looked good. But once I tried them on, my mind changed. When I put them on, the boot was too tall for my leg. The top of the boot was digging into the area of skin behind my knee area, but I thought nothing of it. But when I went riding with them, it kept digging into my skin when I was even just sitting in the saddle. Eventually, once I got home, the zipper started to fall off and my feet were very uncomfortable. Now many of you may not experience this, but I sure did.

i love these boots they are everything i neec in a boot they are made with great leather, it turns out that my friend liked my boots so much that now i have to get them for her b-day when i ride i ride a horse that tends to get excited yso he over jumps it so i really have to get my heal down and the leather is just so flexiable from now on the brand of boots i get is always going to be tufrider

I wasn't very happy with these boots. I thought they looked very plastic and fake, but that wans't very much of an issue, i knew i couldn't afford real leather. The material connected to the zipper came unglued after only 2 shows, leaving a big hole and i hadn't worn them at all in between. I was able to return them very easily and received store credit.

Well, after my last show,I started on a new lesson horse who primarily does english. I had previously done western and didn't know if these were good boots. Normally I but a pair of boots before a show, and break them in by riding an hour or two a week. I just wanted to know if these boots would hold up to even this much riding based on the reviews that are below? I will probably show in these, but I also wanted to know just how tall they are. I wear an 11 wide, any suggestions?

I bought these boots only to find they were the incorrect size. It was an expensive return, but once I got the correct size, they fit very well. They look nice, but were a complete waste of money. I rode in them about 20 times before the zipper broke--won't budge and the threads are damaged. VERY disappointed.

I bought these boots last year when I started showing and they are great! I don't have the money to spend on fancy "quality leather" or brand name boots. These look just as good as any brand name boots! I've gone to about 10 shows with them and they have stayed in great shape! I've had no trouble with the zipper, but when I first got them, they were a bit tall for my calf, but that is the same with any tall boot. Once you breat them in, the ankel will loosen and they will fall to the correct position on your leg. One word of warning is the inside of the boot staines your socks purple. The fist time I rode in the boots I was wearing white boot socks (yikes!) Lets just say they are not white socks anymore... more like white and purple striped socks haha! But I'm fine with that! Over all, these are great boots.

These boots are a piece of you know what they aren't even worth the 70 bucks plus shipping prize come on why the heck would you sale boots like this just cause we dnt want to pay 200. Bucks for a pair of boots don't mean you give us something cheaper than we paid for well looks like your getting talks piece of crap boots back

I just got these boots today an was very unhappy. Right away i could tell they were fake leather and very cheap looking. When i tried them own they fit in my cath an shoe.Me being a short person they were way to tall. Do not waste your money an spend a little more money for a better boot.

I bought these boots for my first show because of the price. Well, you get what you pay for. They do look like real leather & they had a ton of room in the ankle for flexing. However, the zipper blew out as I was zipping them up. I didn't even ride in them yet. Sooo, spend the extra money & buy something of a little better quality.

I did even know that they were fake leather when I looked at them in a store. Note even my instructor could tell when I wore them the first time, I had to tell her. They have a Custom feel to them and with the elastic strip on the inside, they have give. But beware that I have a slender cafe and the Regular just barley fits me. I rode in them the first time today & they were GREAT!!!! They were soooo comfortable and not even a squeak and I ride in a dressage saddle! In fact they actually improved my leg position!!! Plus with the elastic fake laces they have more give in your ankle. Which somebody with bad ankles can appreciate. =) These are a must Have!!! I am thinking about buying a second pair for practice, and I hate tall boots. =)

i got these boots as my first pair and they were great at first. they broke in within 10 min of just walking around and they were extremely comfortable. still are to this day! the problem is they fall apart really easily.after the equvilent of a 5 days worth of riding, the film on the outside started to peal off. they squeaked on the saddle to for the longest time too. however, you can buy them just for the show ring and they would work great after a little breaking in. they are really flexible too. i dont THINK i will get these again just because i do a LOT of barn chores and would like some real leather ones.
