Active Ingredient per 1/3 ounce:  Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) (99.8% pure) . . 9,430 mg

Directions for Use:
Enclosed scoop holds 1/3 ounce.

Canine and feline: Give recommended level twice daily for the first 7 days, reduce to once daily for maintenance. Add to food dry or dissolve in lukewarm water first. ¼ teaspoon = 1 gram MSM
Up to 45 lbs. body weight: . . . . . . ¼ tsp
45 to 90 lbs. body weight: . . . . . . .½ tsp
Above 90 pounds: . . . . . . . . . . . . ¾ tsp

Equine: Give one scoop (1/3 ounce by weight) twice daily for the first 7 days. Give one scoop thereafter for daily maintenance, or as directed by veterinarian. Increase supplementation of large breeds proportionately according to body weight in excess of 1,000 pounds.

Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal after each use.

Arthritic Help For Your Horse, 4/14/2012

I purchased this for my senior Tennessee Walking horse who has arthritis. It was recommended by both my vet and my farrier. It has given her some relief, but I also give her other supplements too.

I know a lot of people who use this so I gave it a try. My off the track thoroughbred has swollen tendons fairly often. I tried the 192 days and he was sound and the swelling was very very rare. I've had him off of it for a week to see if there's a difference and he's swollen again. Definitely going to keep him on this from now on!

I have used Vita Flex MSM for years for both my older dogs and my horses. It works very well as an antiinflamatory. Both my dogs and horses received pain relief benefits from the antiinflamatory quality of this product. I would highly recommend this product to all dog and horse owners.
