·         Washing Instructions - Machine wash with cold water – Gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air Dry or Machine Dry/No Heat

·         Horses Turned Outside without Shelter - Turnout Sheet and Blanket materials are waterproof and designed to keep your horse dry, however if your horse is turned out in a field without a run in shed or shelter during prolonged rain or heavy downpours your horse may still get wet especially in the neck and tail areas.

·         When using a blanket or a sheet on your horse it is critical to monitor the fluctuating climate and temperatures even with a blanket that is waterproof and breathable. The wicking properties of a breathable blanket are designed to wick away normal body heat, when a blanket is too heavy the heat and moisture cannot be wicked away fast enough causing your horse to sweat. The temperature and the length of your horse’s coat will determine what weight of blanket you should use. For this reason, most people who choose to blanket horses have several articles of horse clothing that offer varying levels of warmth.

Does the sheet have any fill?
claire “ on Nov 9, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Claire, no the sheet has no fill. It's just the outer shell and a lining. It's basically a wind and water proof covering, which is what I wanted for my gelding. He develops a nice, thick winter coat, but I wanted to give him extra protection on wet nights in winter, like when it was raining or sleeting.

What is the sizing chart?
Julie D on Sep 21, 2015
Best Answer: I should have re-measured my Mini before ordering this blanket because it's way too big for my little guy (who is only 31" tall). I was going by memory from a measure I'd done the year before. Silly me! But it seems that the smallest blankets are a size 48, which is supposed to equal the measurement from the center of the chest, along the side, to the end of the rump. I had thought my gelding was 48", but the blue, size 48, blanket was way too large. It was on him once to check the fit and was never put on him again.

what is the size 48?
Julie D on Sep 21, 2015
Best Answer: The size 48 is a pony size, and measures 48" from the binding at the chest buckles straight back to the binding at the edge of the hindquarters.

Hello! :)
I'm considering getting this for my pony, and i was wondering if the neck part of this is detachable?
A shopper on Dec 24, 2014
Best Answer: The neck cover isn't detachable but it has kept my mini mare warm and dry through rain, heavy snow, and wind. She's on 24 hour turnout other than some shelter under the 6' roof overhang on the barn and/or if my QH mare lets her share the stall. I have a detachable neck cover for my QH mare and sometimes she can get a little damp where the high neck blanket and neck cover meet. When she puts her head down it creates a gap between the two. I personally like the attached neck cover better.
