Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Combo Fly Sheet Set!! This fly sheet combo is of great quality. My horse generally fits a 76; I purchased a 75 in this fly sheet, and it fits perfectly. The fasteners are very nice in that they enable the sheet, and neck cover, to cover all of my horse to keep the flies off. It is holding up extremely well. My horse rolls with it on, and everything stays in place. Nothing has torn, ripped, or come apart. I am very happy with this sheet combo set, and am going to purchase another to have on hand for next years fly season. September 15, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by great I got a 72" for my 15.2 hh grade mare, fits like a glove, only problem the neck is a little big and rubs if I'm not carefully how I do up the front. I got it on sale for $49.99. Worth every penny, because I'm not buying fly spray any more. The mask keeps her eyes from running on the sunny, really dry, dusty days. May 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quite Large I have last years version of this blanket with the beige and light blue on it, and I have a weatherbetta orican winter blanket in a size 81 and it fits my horse perfect. when I tried this on, its HUGE. the material is very very nice, I just wished it fit him. he's 5 so I hope he grows a tad bit more. but so far its worked great for blocking UV rays and bugs and such. Do you need to have a halter on for the neck cover to stay up?
Madeline on Nov 3, 2014
Best Answer: Madeline--

I had the same problem you are apparently having. Although I attached the neck cover to a fly mask with a velcro strip, my horse would always manage to pull the mask and neckpiece apart. There are four such velcro straps on the neck fly sheet, but only one on the fly mask. What are the extra straps for? I expected Weatherbeeta would bring out a new fly mask with four attachments, but it never appeared. I did try a break-away halter over the fly mask but that rubbed the head raw in places. Now I just let the neck sheet droop. Even though my horse is very sensitive to flies, the small gap between the fly mask and the neck sheet has not been a problem.

Do the horses sweat under it in extreme heat?
Kathy C on May 13, 2015
Best Answer: My horse is very comfortable in this fly sheet. She does not sweat under it. However, we are in the Pacific NW, so we only occasionally get temps over 75 degrees. When she's in the sun, during 70-75 degrees, she does not sweat.

Does this run big?
Claire M on Jun 24, 2014
Best Answer: I believe I had to order the next inch up as it was not in size I normally order. It has good coverage and holds up well and does not really look too big on him. Plus it cleans up easily, I just spray the water from the hose and it dries fast. It's a good investment.
