Honestly, all I can say is WOW. This cinch is AMAZING. It's SO much easier to cinch my horse up. She's a cutting horse, so she's built like a bulldog. I have no problems at all. It hasn't slipped ONCE. Yes, it gets full of hair (even then, it barely slips), but I just use the shedding blade on it and I'm off again :) Same with my felt pad. It's attractive enough to use in shows (even though I have a leather girth that matches my saddle, I use this one) My horse is a little girthy (She bites at the air if I cinch her up) but the problem is slowly improving with this, since I don't have to jerk on her- I can go my own speed. Thank you so much, Weaver, for making it easier and more comfortable for me and my horse :)

A friend owned this cinch and kept encouraging me to buy it. Boy, am I glad I listened! Cinching my horse has never been THAT much of a problem, but this Smart Cinch made it so much easier ~ on both of us! I ordered this during a sale, so the price couldn't even be beat by my local tack shops. Thanks, State Line and Smart Cinch! Any time I can save tacking my horse is more time I have to spend ON my horse. :)

I bought this cinch not too long ago, because my colt gets a little cinchy if I really have to crank the latigo through the buckle. I love how easy it is to tighten up my cinch and my colt absolutly loves it and is getting better and better about being saddled thanks to this must have investment. I am in need of purchasing a second one that is a little smaller for him, since the one for my older gelding is about two sizes too big on him.

I absolutely love his cinch but you shouldn't use the felt one on more than one horse. I used the same cinch on my horses and one of them got girth itch because of it. I am buying another to use on that horse. I suppose that you could spray the cinch off with a fungicide after every use but I just think its easier to change finches, cheaper too! That is the ONLY problem I have had with this cinch!

My horse hated to be cinched and the cinches i had bought in the past were not very good, however, when i bought this cinch my horse was so very happy and enjoyed being cinched every time! The felt is good quality and very soft and doesn't hold dirt like other cinches. This cinch is also very supple and moves with the horse. The roller buckle is amazing and very easy to use. I will definitely by this again!!!

This is the cinch that has changed riding for me. Not only does it make cinching your horse a "cinch," it saves time too as you are able to secure the saddle faster and head out on the trail. I'm an encurance rider, and that's important to me. I recommend this cinch to all my novice students (I give lessons too). You gotta love something that makes life easier! As for the very, very few negative reviews on here, it's possible those folks may have bought the wrong size cinch, not used it correctly, have other issues with their horse that are incorrectly blamed on the cinch, or in a rare situation received one with a defect. You do need to remember to use the cinch correctly if you've never used one before. And, you may find that one type is just simply not right for you or your horse--so switch to another (such as neoprene, felt, or mohair) and see if that works. Smart Cinch is the only way to go!

I purchased one about almost ten years ago now. When I started to do more trail riding I had everyone asking me about it. Nowadays all my friends I ride with have one too. It really makes it easier to cinch up and go without pulling on saddle atop your horse. As always, I am always bragging about the Smart Cinch, the smart choice. It can come with roper style as well as the old fashioned Mohair cinches too. Happy Trails!

I really like this cinch. It is very good quality, with thick materials and heavy-duty buckles. The rollers really make it much easier to cinch up, especially for the ladies out there! My horse can get a little cinchy but doesn't seem to mind this one, probably because I can cinch it up so much faster and without yanking and jerking for several minutes. Stateline has the best price too...can't beat that!

I have an older model of this girth that has done great, so I re-ordered but the one that I just received did not come with the chestnut skirting leather off-billet that is pictured. It just came with a nylon one. Disappointing...

For my horse, a quarter horse who is a semiqh in saddle, this product was horrible. It always pinched her and made her very very angry every time I tried to cinch her up. She began biting and pinning her ears back as soon as i placed the saddle on her. I got the saddle checked out and it was okay. The guy said cinches like this, irritate some horses since it pulls the hair. I dont recommend this at all.

I mainly purchased this cinch to help keep my saddle from slipping. It worked great! And, it is so easy to cinch up. No more ouchy hands trying to tighten a cinch in cold weather.

I love this cinch! It works great, the rollers are a huge help. It makes it much easier for kids to tack up, and the felt really helps with rub marks. Well worth the $34!
