Not Impressed with Size Accuracy, 4/28/2012

Val from Pittsbugh, PA

Mid-January I bought the large in blue which is supposed to fit a 1100 -1600 lb. horse for my 20 month old Drum horse who is now about 1200 lbs. and approx. 16.1 hands. As soon as I saw it I thought it looked like what I would consider a regular horse size halter, not an oversized. I had to use the last hole on the headband at that time. Needless to say 4 months later he needs a bigger size already so I am going to buy a draft size even though he isn't close to 1600 lbs. I didn't return it at that time because I thought that he would have gotten more wear out of it. Also, the stiching in the headband and nose band fell out, but I won't blame the manufacturer for that because my horse was chewing on it as it gets hung inside his stall. (Barn rules that I don't particularily agree with, but stalls line an indoor arena and it is a safty issue for arena riders if anything is hanging on the outside of stalls.)

LOVE this Halter!, 3/30/2012

Maggie from Illinois

I bought this halter over the summer and I love it! I bought the purple one which is a pretty deep purple color. It is very durable, and it still looks brand new after daily use! It is a strong halter and can be adjusted to fit all of my horses. I bought this with the "Weaver Multi-Color Poly Lead Rope w/Bolt Snap" in Raspberry/Teal/Purple and they match perfectly. I have gotten so many compliments on this halter. My horses look great in this halter, and they all love it too!

Wonderful Halter, 2/3/2012

Amanda from Denver, CO

I love this halter, and so does my yearling. It is VERY durable and I love that it's adjustable and the clip is big enough to where it doesn't pinch her face. I highly recommend this halter. (:

Great halter , 11/16/2011

Jessie from NC, USA

I purchased this halter for my horse recently, and I loved it! The snap was very easy on my hands (early arthritis) the quality top notch, I loved everything about this halter... except how easy it was for my horse to slip it off and lose it in her pasture. I haven't seen it since. Seriously, the first time she was let out she lost it. Next time I get her a new halter, its coming off for turnout time! My mare is AQHA, stands 14.1 hands, very dainty head, and wore the small size just fine with it let out fully- it fit perfectly! It's hard to find the right size when you're a large pony/ small horse, and I totally recommend the small for other horses in the same boat.
